Mana Mana

The name, Mana Mana, comes from the Portuguese slang for “sister” — a nod to my late sister, Emma.

I spent time growing up in Portugal, where “mana” is a warm, familiar name to call your sister or close friend – a sisterhood, or chosen family would be the best way to describe it.

Emma and I once dreamed of working together to help small businesses navigate and thrive in their professional journeys. Mana Mana is my way of carrying that dream forward – creating brands and websites with a collaborative and empathetic approach. My job is to make your job easier, your business presence stronger, and your brand or website something that you feel truly represents who you are.

I choose to work with independent businesses because I understand them from the inside out.

My professional background spans independent retail and service-based industries, and I know first-hand the realities of running a business; wearing every hat, mastering new skills, and putting in endless hours just to keep things ticking over.

This type of understanding and empathy is invaluable to my work. I know the challenges and the ambitions that make a small business unique. I use that knowledge to design brands and websites that communicate those valuable details clearly – resulting in a visual presence that helps your customers connect with the core of who you are and what you do.
